ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers spot reason why Matt Hancock manages to stay in camp

I'm A Celebrity viewers have spotted a reason why Matt Hancock manages to stay in the camp.

The former Health Secretary is part of the lineup on the latest season of TV's toughest entertainment challenge. Mr Hancock's addition proved to be controversial as he was forced to resign during the pandemic after breaking his own social distancing rules.

The West Suffolk MP was voted to endure the first few dreaded Bushtucker Trials. However, fans have been surprised that he has managed to survive the public vote to stay in the camp.

Favourites such as Babatunde Aleshe and Scarlette Douglas have been eliminated from the show as Mr Hancock remains in the jungle. Viewers following the show on Twitter have said they believe he remains on the show due to how the vote is conducted.

Fans vote for who they want to stay in the competition and some viewers speculated there has been confusion as people think they are voting for who needs to be evicted.

Susan said: "I honestly think if it was a vote to evict, Matt Hancock would have been the first one out."

Cath responded: "I keep saying this, I’d like to think people are confused and think they are voting to kick someone out…"

India added: "Reminder you vote to STAY NOT to GO"

The_Farmster commented : "Who on earth keeps voting for Matt Hancock to stay in? Do people not understand the vote?"
