ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers question Boy George's vegetarianism as they spot error

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers have been left questioning Boy George, days after he took on an all-vegetarian eating trial. The latest trip to the jungle on the ITV reality show on Tuesday night (November 15), saw the Culture Club icon taking part in the latest Bushtucker trial alongside Chris Moyles and Babatunde Aleshe.

The trio were faced with the task, entitled Angel of Agony, after I'm A Celeb viewers spared Matt Hancock from his seventh consecutive trial. And it's probably fair to say the group had an absolute nightmare.

The trial saw Boy George, Babatunde, and Chris stood in three different boxes in a contraption in an attempt to replicate the Angel of the North in Gateshead. Boy George, 61, was seen chanting while navigating a box full of critters to find the stars that he then needed to pass on to Babatunde.

The comedian and Celebrity Gogglebox star opted to go in the middle box and while being covered in various creepy crawlies, he struggled to get the star up a tunnel to radio DJ Chris where he had to use a magnet to get it out and bag a meal for camp.

Ultimately, Chris, Boy George, and Babatunde couldn't hold their nerves and ultimately won just three out of the 11 available stars. Even Ant and Dec rated afterward that it was "frustrating to watch" Back in the studio, Dec joked: "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, what a performance. Three pathetic stars."

Ant added: "Yeah their names are George, Baba and Chris." Dec continued: "Baba was really upset with his performance. He's carried his disappointment back into the camp, he just needs to drop it", before Ant quipped: "He'll have no problem with dropping it, my friend. Wasn't he awful?"

But there was a bit more success later as they took on the latest Dingo Dollar Challenge. Charlene White, Mike Tindall and Seann Walsh were tasked with keeping a white apartment "squeaky clean" as objects were thrown onto the set, including confetti, paper and foam, all in order to try and win a treat for camp.

So far, the group hasn't been successful and following Monday night's show, I'm A Celeb viewers were dumbfounded to discover the challenge had a time limit as Scarlette Douglas and Owen Warner failed to complete the task in the allotted time. But Mike, Charlene and Seann did emerge victorious and were able to see Kiosk Kev who has had his Outback Shack swapped for Kev's Deals on Wheels.

After the reamining campmates successfully answered Kev's question correctly, the stars were able to enjoy a small portion of jelly babies. But I'm A Celeb fans were quick to call out Boy George who has previously publicly announced that he is vegetarian, although it was reported that he would be following a vegan diet in camp.

It comes after last week, when he faced the first eating trial of the series alongside former health secretary Matt and, while the MP had to tuck into the likes of fish eyes and a cow's anus, Boy George appeared to take on the 'easier' options such as rotten egg and fermented tofu - which didn't go down well with viewers at home.

@TomPerr32299325 tweeted: "Well jelly babies are not vegetarian or vegan friendly. Why is boy George eating them? #ImACeleb." @tferry472 commented: "So who telling George jelly babies aren’t vegetarian #ImACelebrity." @seedaripper posted: "#ImACeleb doesn't boy George realise that jelly babies contain gelatine, which obviously comes from pigs."

@EmmaNM93 asked: "I thought Boy George was vegetarian so why is he eating jelly babies? #ImaCeleb." @Ge_l_t_yJo quizzed: "Have Jelly Babies become veggie or did BG get a veggie alternative??#ImACeleb." But @CavoloChe replied: "You can get some made with pectin, so they would be veggie. #ImaCeleb."
