ITV I'm A Celebrity viewers make Babatunde prediction as they work out celebrities' downfall

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here viewers couldn't keep away from social media as they welcomed the show back to screens and followed along with the opening episode of the series. Millions of fans watched as ten new celebrities began their journey on the ITV reality show on Sunday night (November 6).

Ant and Dec, who arrived in style by speedboat, met with the campmates, who had been split into two teams, before they giving them details of their first tasks. Kicking off with The Ledge, Jill Scott, Charlene White and Babatúndé Aleshe were challenged to walk to the edge of a plank and, once all in position, take a step forward onto the ledge so they were leaning forward and facing down the jaw-dropping 334-foot drop to the ground.

They were required to stay there for one minute before letting go and as the hosts put it, let gravity take its course. Loose Women star Charlene was first to shakily make her way into position but was left waiting longer than she hoped as comedian Babatúndé couldn't complete the challenge and instead became the first to say those famous words, 'I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here', and back out of the challenge.

Trying to make up for lost time, former England footballer Jill stormed across down the plank and got into position. Meanwhile, Olivia Attwood, who was voted the first 'VIP', and Chris Moyles were jumping out of a helicopter onto a beach where they then had to spend their first night stranded on the island and face the first offical trial of the series.

Meanwhile, arriving one-by-one by boat to a marina wer Boy George, rugby player Mike Tindall, Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver, TV presenter and property expert Scarlette Douglas and Hollyoaks’ Owen Warner.

Culture Club star Boy George was the second Jungle VIP - which stood for Very Isolated Person - voted in and he chose Scarlette to join him for a meal for two on a yacht. They then had to row their way off the yacht on a dinghy to join Olivia and Chris on an island while the remaining campmates – Mike, Sue, and Owen – were helicoptered into the jungle and put to the test on the 'Critter Cruise' where they had to each try and secure a star from a boat’s mast by completing a challenge.

But following Babatunde's reaction to the first task, I'm A Celeb fans have made a prediction as they think he has cemented his position as the one doing the trials voted for by the public for the foreseeable. @AlanWolfson tweeted: "I think Babatunde might have booked himself a few challenges #ImACeleb."

@E1lieems said: "The public are defo putting babatunde through the first bush ticket trial #ImACeleb." @Owen9732 wrote: "That’s babatunde getting voted for the first trial #imaceleb." @imaceleb2022 commented: "Babatunde laughing as if he’s not going to be the first voted to do a trial #ImACeleb." @x_emily___ added: "Babatunde laughing now, not knowing the public will be voting him for every trial after this #ImACeleb."

It comes after I'm A Celeb viewers were quick to point out the celebrities' downfall before they even step foot in the jungle. @OfficialScottyT tweeted: "#ImACelebrity Celebs never learn do they? Don't admit you are scared of something. The public are voting for you."

@sophieetell posted: "Come on guys you should know the drill by now- don’t list off everything you’re scared of or you’ll 100% be voted to do those trials #ImACeleb." @ravinaik added: "I feel like telling Babatunde "MATE don't tell them what you're scared of" #ImACelebrity."
