ITV I'm A Celebrity's Sue Cleaver 'confirms' show 'feud' after campmate snub

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here might be over but the drama continues. Former campmate Sue Cleaver has breathed new life into rumours of an in-camp feud, according to a report.

The ITV Coronation Street star snubbed fellow jungle contestant Matt Hancock when she refused to follow the Tory MP on social media, despite following other campmates, according to Birmingham Live. Sue previously criticised Matt's leadership skills in camp, saying: “I don’t think he’s showing leadership qualities. It’s not what the people need.”

The conversation with Mike Tindall continued with Mike replying: “Not in these times. So you want to plan the revolution?” Sue retorted: “I think we need to plan the revolution." Say later told the Bush Telegraph: “He just sits in his red chair, I haven’t seen him talk to any of his ministers, so I don’t think that can carry on for much longer. Watch this space.”

Sue was one of the first three celebrities to be voted out of the jungle. However, Mr Hancock, the former Health Secretary, made it all the way to the final, alongside Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and eventual winner, footballing Lioness Jill Scott.

Some fans accused Sue, who plays Eileen Grimshaw in Corrie, of being two-faced as she moaned about Matt to Boy George. Boy George admitted he was struggling to get on with Matt. He told Sue: “I find him very hard to warm to.” Adding: “Everyone else I feel connected to in a kind of… without having to know the ins and outs of who you are.”

Sue mused: “You’ve got an economist in a camp with a load of creatives. He’s maths all the way, he uses a different side of his brain. Do you know what I mean?” The West Suffolk MP surpassed the expectations of many by reaching the final three in the 'must watch' show. However, back home, his 21 days in the Australian jungle have seen him suspended from the Conservative parliamentary party and criticised by colleagues including Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

ITV I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here returns with a bonus episode - and final edition - on Thursday night, from 9.15pm to 10.20pm. Ant and Dec present coverage of what happened to campmates of the 2022 contest since they left the Australian base.
