ITV I'm A Celebrity's Scarlette Douglas hints at stars 'want to get voted out'

After a controversial few weeks on air, the latest season of I'm a Celebrity is proving to be one of the most talked about yet. Now the evictions are underway as we head towards the final on Sunday, November 27.

Following her departure, campmate Scarlette Douglas has claimed that some of her co-stars wanted to get voted out on Sunday night, as she was left in tears at being the second campmate voted out this series. A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette had been involved in a few big moments since heading into the jungle.

There was a hysterical moment in the launch episode when Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner had absolutely no clue who she was, while, when Matt Hancock made his late entrance into camp midway through week one, Scarlette was one of the campmates who asked him outright why he was there, reports Chronicle Live.

A clearly rattled Boy George replied: “That’s not true," with Scarlette telling him “I don’t know the story, I just heard radiator, handcuffs…”

Scarlette also had a key role in securing the Letters from Home for her and her campmates, thanks to the efforts of her, Mike Tindall and Jill Scott, but just hours later she was given her marching orders when I 'm A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec confirmed she'd finished bottom of the public vote, two days after Charlene White became the first evictee of the new series.

After bursting into tears second after her fate was confirmed, Scarlett was open with Ant and Dec about how unhappy she was to be getting the boot, while hinting others would have happily taken her place.

Right at the start of her exit interview, the TV host said: "I'm absolutely gutted. I'm not even going to lie about it. I know some people wanted to leave but I'm not ready to go yet."
