Comedian Babatunde Aléshé became the fifth celebrity to leave the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle and in an interview with ITV's daytime show, This Morning, which aired on Friday, November 25, Babatunde revealed how he sparked up an unusual bond with a certain MP, which "definitely surprised" him.
Presenter Dermot O'Leary, who co-hosts the show with Alison Hammond on Fridays, asked the 34-year-old, who was talking to them from Australia, who surprised him in terms of who he bonded with, Babatunde said: "Matt Hancock surprised me. Definitely surprised me. And the way we bonded after a while, was definitely surprising.
"But we bonded over the fact that we're both fathers. Obviously, I'm married. And you know, he's coming out of a really hard relationship. But we bonded over fatherhood and so that was the thing that we often talked about. It was really, really good."

Dermot then chimed in that, during their time in the jungle, celebs are put in a "strange position" and often find commonality in everything, regardless of professional background.
Babtunde responded: "Definitely, man. And it was so easy being myself in that place. You find common ground with everybody. But equally, you're able just to be free and be yourself because you're so vulnerable. Like your actual personality is the only thing that can shine through."
Laughing, Alison added: "To be fair, you're the only person who could turn to Matt Hancock and say, 'you were grabbing booty, man!', I mean who does that?"
"Listen, I felt so bad!" added Babatunde, who revealed that he had lost a stone and a half during his jungle stint and told viewers he'd feasted on chips, pizza and calamari as soon as he came out.
When it comes to who should be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, he added: "I can't decide between Owen or Jill. I said Owen initially, but I'd be so happy if Jill got it as well. But both of them, they're my two best friends in that place, yeah."
Earlier in the interview, the comedian and actor, who has been praised throughout for his infectiously positive attitude and personality, reflected on the first trial he took part in - which saw him, Charlene White and Jill Scott needing to walk out on a plank that was suspended at an immense height over a 32-storey building. But igniting his fear of heights, the comedian, after 45 minutes, shouted those famous words: "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!"
He told Alison and Dermot: "I definitely regret the first trial, backing out. Talk about trauma. But in terms of my favourite trial, it has to be the horrifying heights. When I conquered that, I was so happy."
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues on ITV tonight at 9.15pm.
