I'm a Celebrity fans reacted angrily as Scarlette Douglas became the second celebrity to leave the jungle. A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette cried after hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly arrived in camp to announce she was to pack her bags after the public had been voting for their favourites to stay.
The camp was told that it was between Scarlette and comedian Babatúndé Aléshé, and Scarlette broke down in tears as she was comforted by campmate Mike Tindall. Her shock exit came after Loose Women panellist Charlene White became the first person to leave the 2022 series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here on Friday night (November 18).
@JohnBaker225 tweeted: "Racist Britain strikes again." @oohsajeda said: "The British public are racist. Nothing more to it." And @RyanGSoapKing11 commented: "The voting clearly shows that the public are racist. Voting out the first 2 black women from camp."

@dog_man1971 pointed out: "I've just noticed something are we been racist 2 black celebs gone on a trot." And @EliciaMae12 said: "Even more convinced from this that the British public are racist."
@nononono6161 wrote: "People are so obviously racist. The first two people to leave are black women and in the odds one of the people most likely to leave, is a black man. They added: "I'm actually sick of this, there's never been a black winner either. this was supposed to be the year, with Scarlette." And another viewer asked: "A pattern emerging..?"
Another viewer said they were sickened to see her leave over former health secretary Matt Hancock who arrived as a controversial latecomer to the camp in Australia. @arcanethoughts2 said: "Scarlette over Matt Hancock. You guys make me SICK."
@AndyGibsonTV said: "Scarlette Douglas should've won I'm A Celebrity 2022, not eliminated before Matt Hancock." @fatssss__ fumed: "You mfs voted for Matt Hancock over Scarlette I swear the British public shouldn’t be allowed to vote for anything."
And @weiszcolman said: "The first three out are most likely going to be the only three black people in there while MATT HANCOCK is STILL in the jungle. Everyone’s clearly taken his forgiveness bait while being obviously racist, I’m so tired."
Asked about her departure by Ant and Dec, Scarlette said: "I'm not ready to leave yet and these people are incredible." She was described as "beautiful inside and out" by campmate Owen Warner in a moving VT that moved her to tears again.
