Ant McPartlin has called this year's campmates 'idiots' and co-host Dec Donnelly has agreed that they are 'awful' in their latest chat with fans. The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here hosts have made it a tradition to go live on Instagram straight after each episode of the ITV reality show.
And they don't hold back with their thoughts on what viewers had just seen on-screen during the latest instalment of jungle action. In Wednesday night's show, I'm A Celeb fans watched as Jill Scott took on the latest Bushtucker Trial, Critty Critty Fang Fang.
The retired footballer, 35, donned an outfit similar to that of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Truly Scrumptious and had to search around for stars while hanging in the air on a flying car. Despite expressing a fear of heights, Jill scored a full house of stars for her campmates meaning they were guaranteed a hearty meal.
But one thing that the campmates, again, didn't excel at was the latest Deals on Wheels challenge. Matt Hancock and Mike Tindall took on the latest task in a bid to win a treat for the camp which saw them needing to solve an anagram to bag the Dingo Dollars.
The pair, both 44, found 99 red balloons strung up which they had to pop using a spike on top of their helmets, getting covered in gunge and confetti along the way. Popping the balloons earned them letters engraved onto silver coins which they had to decipher before the sand timer ran out
After successfully completing the challenge of spelling the word 99, their fellow campmates failed to correctly work out the combined total of Adele’s album titles, missing out on the chance to win chocolate chip cookies. And their was evident heartbreak in camp when Matt and Mike returned empty-handed after being adamant that Adel's album titled added up to 70 when the correct answer was 95.
"Kev's deals on wheels challenge, they have now lost seven challenges out of 10," Dec confirmed during their latest Instagram Live, which they have dubbed 'Jungle Club'. "So I think they're officially the worst... at the challenges..." the presenter added before Ant waded in.
"Yeah, I think they are," he agreed with his co-host before adding: "They're the worst ever. What a bunch of idiots. They're idiots!" He then clarified to the camera: "Not you lot, the celebs are idiots."
But Ant's rage was soon directed elsewhere when a fan suggested they get Michael Jackson as a campmate which, for obvious reasons, is never going to happen. After spotting the suggestion, Ant fumed: "Considering the man is deceased, I don't think that's going to happen son."
