ITV I'm A Celebrity fans think they've now worked out the winner after welcoming change to show

Viewers have identified their winner of I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out Of Here 2022 after celebrating a welcome 'change' to the show on Saturday night. Fans of the ITV reality show were celebrating as they noticed that they were getting extra helpings of their jungle favourite.

Hollyoaks heartthrob Owen Warner, who played Romeo Nightingale in the Channel Four soap, has been winning hearts on the popular jungle show since he made his I'm A Celeb debut in Australia earlier this month. In the latest episode supporters were delighted to see him take part in the Mr and Mrs style trial, followed by a charming in-depth chat at the creek with campmates Boy George, Mike Tindall and Sean Walsh during which they opened up about their first jobs.

Owen admitted: “Me and education never saw eye-to-eye at all. I worked in a pub, I worked in a garden centre, at uni I did loads of club promo. I liked that because it was chatting to people and then Hollyoaks came straight off the back of that.”

Then Owen had more screen time as he and Matt Hancock took part in the Deals On Wheels challenge. Matt had to direct Owen to complete a series of puzzles that he couldn’t see himself.

The challenge was all about communication, with Matt having to guide Owen through each one. The pair successfully completed the challenge. but camp failed to correctly answer how many romantic partners Owen’s Hollyoaks character Romeo has had.

On Friday night Owen had viewers in stitches when said of a bird poo incident, which saw former health secretary Matt remove droppings on a chair with his hand: "That is our former Health Secretary… ‘happy birthday twice’ he told me and he’s just given a little [flick] after touching poo with his bare hands!"
