ITV I'm A Celebrity delayed tonight after Ant and Dec issue announcement

ITV I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here has been moved to a slightly later time tonight. The episode will air in a later timeslot - fresh from Charlene White becoming the first evicted campmate.

The show will now be on at 9.10pm tonight. Ant revealed the news at the end of last night's show, as Charlene became the first eliminated.

The host explained: "That's it from us, but we'll be back at the slightly later time of ten past nine." It comes as producers try and stave off a clash with the hugely popular and anticipated BBC Strictly Come Dancing Blackpool special, Birmingham Live reports.

Charlene sipped a glass of fizz as she spoke to the hosts last night. She said: "It was emotional. To use that ridiculous American phrase, It has been a journey, and I've absolutely loved living with those guys.

"Every single one of those guys have been great." She added: "I was surprised but not surprised, I may well be in the jungle but journalism is my first job."

The ITV Loose Women panelist and news reader continued: "I wanted to ask questions that people on the outside had. We had to live alongside him and adapt to that. He’s made some connections in there which is wonderful."

Charlene also explained her reasons for snubbing the RV. The panelist had caused controversy by refusing to sleep in the motorhome this week.

“I just think it would be really difficult to do the job that I will continue doing after I leave here once I have spent the night with a politician. Not in that way!" she commented. ITV I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here continues to air on ITV 1 and also on the ITV Hub, and will return on Saturday night for its next edition.
