Some Good Morning Britain viewers found themselves 'switching off' the show as Susanna Reid was replaced again. The ITV news programme was back on air on Wednesday (February 22) with Ed Balls back at the helm but this time he was joined by Kate Garraway.
The former Labour MP, who has become a regular on the show, had been hosting alongside Ranvir Singh at the start of the week as Susanna headed to Kyiv to report live from the Ukrainian city as a year approaches since Russia's invasion began. She spent Monday and Tuesday hosting from the Ukraine capital before returning to the UK.
But as she made her way back, Kate stepped in and helped Ed steer the GMB ship for another day. However, it appears not all viewers were impressed as they flocked to social media to point out a problem with the hosting duo that left them with a 'headache'.

@Shazzalar1 pleaded: "PLEASE stop talking over each other. Happens every day now. Switching channels until you all calm down #gmb." @Bunular complained: "My god. What's with all the shouting over each other - couldn't hear a word, and now my head hurts. #GMB."
@Patrick17339227 wrote: "#GMB All talking over each other when there’s news happening." @Speedqueenie posted: "Jesus Christ, can you all stop talking over each other #GMB." @wrinklytimelord added: "Glad the shouting over each other has stopped. Headache now #GMB."
Earlier this week, during Susanna's first episode back since the half-term break, viewers saw her in Ukraine for the first time since the war began. She reported from the capital and spoke to the remarkable men, women and children who’ve survived the war and are still living in partially occupied Ukraine while reporter Richard Gainsford also joined from Zaporizhzhia.
At the top of the programme Susanna explained: "Nothing really prepared me for what I was able to witness in this place, Borodyanka. It’s a town on the road into Kyiv and it is still largely in ruins. The homes of hundreds of normal people, blown apart. These are not military targets, they’re not stores of ammunition, these are homes of children, of elderly grandparents living with their families. All destroyed a year ago, as part of that early and vicious assault on the capital.”
Reacting to GMB’s report in Borodyanka, representative Olga Vasilevska-Smagliuk, who is their equivalent of an MP, said: "When I saw this video I cried. After Russian soldiers came we saw mass graves... We want to prosecute those Russian soldiers. I still [can’t believe] that the war has happened."
Also during the special programme, Ed shared how his Strictly Come Dancing experience inspired his family to open their home to a Ukrainian mother and her two children, who sought refuge at the beginning of the war. Ed’s wife, MP Yvette Cooper also joined to explain how she managed to coordinate for the Ukranian’s family friends to be placed close by, so that their children Yvea and Zakhar, who are junior competitive dancers, could continue practising together.
