Good Morning Britain viewers slammed host Susanna Reid after she interrupted an interview to shout questions to MPs on Downing Street
Susanna was situated outside No 10, interviewing Victoria Atkins, a Tory MP who served as Minister of State for Prisons and Probation and Minister for Afghan Resettlement from 2021 to 2022, who was at another location. They were discussing Rishi Sunak becoming Prime Minister on Tuesday (October 25).
While Victoria was mid-sentence, cameras showed serving Chancellor Jeremy Hunt entering No 10. Susanna interrupted her interviewee to shout to Mr Hunt, 'will you keep your job, Mr Hunt?" as Victoria kept talking. Susanna quickly turned back to the camera and apologised, adding: "You were making an important point about the new Prime Minister's family values."

Susanna explained she wanted to draw viewer's attention to the fact that Mr Hunt had entered No 10. Then, Tory leadership contestant Penny Mourdant made her way to No 10, leading Susanna to shout to her, "Penny Mourdant, what words have you got for Liz Truss on her final day?"
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to air their disapproval of the awkward interview moment. @Fibutton said: "Susanna yelling like a fishwife at govt ministers going into number 10, whilst in the middle of an interview was a bit rude. It's not a red carpet event!" while @OutlawP1951 penned: "Susanna Reid mentions clown music being played outside Downing Street & then proceeds to bellow questions at members of the cabinet knowing they won’t answer #GMB The irony is lost on her".
