Good Morning Britain viewers have claimed Susanna Reid appeared 'mortified' as Richard Madeley quizzed one of the show's latest guests.
The pair were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Tuesday (March 8) as they continued to bring viewers updates on the Russian invasion of Ukraine which is now in its 13th day.
Susanna and Richard also spoke about International Women's Day, which is being celebrated today, as they were joined by Iceland's First Lady Eliza Jean Reid as the country considered to be one of the best for women.

But the hosts also asked the First Lady about the women of Ukraine, many of whom have been forced to flee their homes with their children while others have stayed to fight against the Russian invasion themselves.
Richard, however, was soon be slammed by viewers for asking Eliza whether she herself would be willing to pick up a gun and use it if she was in the same situation as those in Ukraine.
It come after the 65-year-old presenter got in hot water with viewers on Monday for asking Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko about whether she was 'capable of shooting someone dead' as she took her children to safety before returning to the war-torn country to help defend it herself.
On Tuesday, after watching a clip celebrating the women of Ukraine, Richard said: "Of the women that we saw there, many of them, not all of them but many are mothers.
"And one of the women that we interviewed yesterday [Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko] was featured there, and she's got two guns.
"She's got a rifle and she's got a pistol and she's fully prepared to use both.
"I was telling my wife about it when I got home and I said 'She's extraordinary' and Judy turned to me and she said 'But she would say that and she would do that, she's got three children.'"
"I suppose the old, well-worn expression it's almost like the tiger mum syndrome."
"It's hard for me to even imagine being in that scenario," Eliza said. "But one hopes that one does what is necessary to defend one's family and one's country."
He then went on: "I am just going to ask you... based on the women, as you say, who are willing to pick up a gun.
"You have three children, am I right?" to which the Icelandic guest replied: "Four children - I have a step-daughter." Richard continued to ask: "Four children. And what ages are they?"
"They are 8, 10, 12 and 14." she replied before Richard carried on: "Alright. So if you weren't the first lady of Iceland, but say you were the first lady of Kyiv, and you were there presumably you would want them get to a place of safety? Would you want and be willing to pick up a gun?"
Eliza replied: "I think that's such a hypothetical question for me to answer because I am not in that situation. But I can say is that I am in awe of the women of Kyiv and how they are defending their country."
As she gave her answer Susanna could be heard saying 'yes' in agreement with their guest. But GMB viewers were unimpressed.
@Fibutton tweeted: "Richard Madeley being shut down by Susanna, asking the first lady of Iceland how many kids she has & if she'd pick up a gun and kill someone if it came to it, he's obsessed! Susanna wanted to talk about the trafficking of women & child refugees & he brings it down to that! #gmb."
"Richard Madeley is not fit to report on such huge issues. He’s an embarrassment and you can see Susanna is mortified. Absolutely obsessed to ask everyone if they’d pick up a gun and kill someone #GMB," @plouise16 complained.
@siobhanklynch fumed: "Richard basically saying this woman with 3 children is ready with a gun so 'you should be too' really poor interviewing, patronising #GMB."
"#GMB what is it with #richardmadeley obsessed with with women having & using guns to protect themselves and family ... who wouldn't in that situation I cringe when he starts to ask a question," @Michell97251184 commented.
