ITV Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh stunned into silence as Ben Shephard makes 'edit' dig about cover girl shoot

Ranvir Singh was almost left speechless when Ben Shephard made a dig at her live on Good Morning Britain. The pair were back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Friday (April 14) for what was the last episode of the week and the end of the two-week Easter holidays which has resulted in a changing hosting line-up on the show.

But it was a big day for Ranvir as the 45-year-old was celebrating 10 years on the early-morning programme, albeit not just GMB but also on its earlier guise, Daybreak. Later, Ranvir and Ben, 48, were joined by entertainment presenter Radzi Chinyanganya and he came brandishing a magazine.

It was the latest copy of Woman and Home magazine which features mum-of-one Ranvir on the cover. Her co-stars showered her with compliments on her glamorous photoshoot as they took a look at her 'cover girl' moment. Speaking about the contents of the interview and her decade on the programme, Ranvir said: "I remember when you outed me on TV for wearing slippers while reading the news.

"That's the only memory I can think of, Ben Shephard." To which Tipping Point host Ben laughed: "That's the only happy memory?" Ranvir asked: "Can you remember that?" And Ben not only remembered that but outed her for another moment and said: "I can remember that! I can also remember when you didn't wake up and you turned up half an hour late for the show."

As the crew gasped, Ranvir asked: "Do you see what I mean? Do you see what I mean?" She then added: "Anyway, lots of happy memories but the main one that came..." Then referring to the main cover image, of the magazine Radzi was holding up, Ranvir candidly revealed: "It took four hours to get that shot, but you know..."

Ranvir was repeatedly outed by Ben (ITV)

To which Radzi said: "Worth it, though. Worth it." She then added: "It's all natural." It was then that Ben quipped: "They did a great job on that edit as well, didn't they" as their studio guest let out a shocked laugh as Ranvir threw daggers at her co-star.

After a brief silence, Ranvir said she wasn't going to respond and just remain quiet before moving on with the rest of the show. Ranvir posted her magazine cover on Instagram and was flooded with compliments from her ITV co-stars.

"It’s out now ! Lovely day shooting the cover and chatting about my little life with @womanandhome. Hope you enjoy i!" Susanna Reid was among the first to respond, writing: "Stunning," with a red heart while Lorraine Kelly added: "Glorious," also with a heart emoji.
