Ranvir Singh paid an emotional tribute on today's Good Morning Britain.
The TV presenter is back as the main host of the ITV news programme alongside Richard Madeley.
Shortly in to Monday morning's show, Ranvir, 44, announced the death of a much-loved GMB colleague.
Paul Dorrian, the show's long-serving programme organiser, passed away over the weekend.

Announcing the sad news alongside her co-host, Ranvir paid a touching tribute to the late 57-year-old.
"As you know, the show just isn’t what it is without the talented team who work behind-the-scenes here, who get everything on air for us every morning," Ranvir began.
"It is with real sadness in our hearts we have to say we’ve lost one of our beloved colleagues this weekend
"Paul Dorrian, He literally worked day and night to make sure all our technical facilities worked and the show got on the air."
Dorrain spent almost three decades working behind-the-scenes across GMB, GMTV, and other shows.
Ranvir spoke about Dorrain's integral role to the show as images of the popular team member played out to viewers on screen.
"He knew everybody here. He was a kind and loving man, he lifted the spirits of everyone who works here," Ranvir continued.
"He was a really close friend to everyone on the team, so there is a real sadness behind-the-scenes today."
Ranvir then sent her, and the GMB team's, condolences to Dorrian's partner Mike and his two surviving brothers.
"So young and taken too soon, Paul Dorrian our very loved colleague there," she said.
"We just wanted to pay tribute to him this morning."
