ITV Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway admits fear at 'new presenters'

Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway shared her fears as the show's new presenters.

The broadcaster fronted today's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Adil Ray. The two covered the major news stories of the day such as the build up to the Eurovision final, which will be staged at the M&S Bank Arena tomorrow.

They also covered concerns about AI as thousands of scientists calling for an immediate pause to development. The segment was introduced by broadcasters generated by AI.

They said: "Welcome back to Good Morning Britain. A major warning from some of the world's top scientists could ultimately lead to our extinction unless we are able to control it. What does this mean for us and what does this mean for the future of AI?"

Kate was taken aback the segment as she said: "Wow, they're worryingly animated and authoritative. Start making more mistakes so people know that we're real. I've got that covered anyway."

Kate was in agreement as Adil said: "That is scary, right? It looks pretty good."

Stuart Russell appeared on the show and the professor explained why scientists are fearful of the new technology such as Chat GPT. He said: "What we're seeing is not just the ability to answer questions but really unexpected capabilities."
