Alex Beresford has announced he is taking on a new role within ITV.
The 40-year-old broadcaster regularly presents the weather on Good Morning Britain.
Alex has delivered forecasts across the South West of the UK for 17 years, but he will now be taking up a position with the national news team.

He told ITV: "It's been over a decade since I've been working across the region and it's been the most amazing time.
"It's been a special part of my life and I'm going to miss it. I'm a Bristol boy through and through.
"The West Country is an amazing place to work. I'd never been to Cornwall before I started working at ITV West Country and I got to explore one of the best parts of the world in my opinion."
Alex hit headlines last year after he was involved in a clash with Piers Morgan which saw the former Good Morning Britain anchor storm off the set during a live broadcast.
The 56-year-old broadcaster claimed he "didn't believe a word" Meghan Markle said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey when she opened up on issues with her mental health.
Alex Beresford challenged the comments on the episode that aired the next day, which prompted Piers Morgan to quit the ITV news programme.
