ITV Good Morning Britain Adil Ray's jibe sparks guest to declare 'I've had enough'

Adil Ray's jibe on Good Morning Britain sparked a guest to declare they've "had enough".

The broadcaster returned to front Thursday's edition of the ITV news programme alongside Charlotte Hawkins. The two were joined by commentators Grace Blakeley and Ed Vaizey to discuss the Tory leadership debate.

Mr Vaizey defended Rishi Sunak after the former Chancellor was spotted wearing shoes with a hole in them to hustings. The former Conservative MP shocked the broadcasters when he stood up to reveal he was wearing trainers on today's show.

Adil was in hysterics when he noticed the former Culture Minister teamed his trainers with a pair of tracksuit bottoms. Mr Vaizey said: "I'm going to the gym straight after this. Shirt off, t-shirt on, into the gym."

The broadcasters continued to reference Mr Vaizey's wardrobe gaffe when they returned after the advert break. Adil said: "Ed is still in his tracksuit bottoms, unfortunately."

Charlotte added: "We're now joined by Dr Hilary, who is dressed more smartly." Mr Vaizey joked he wouldn't be returning to the show after he was on the receiving end of the host's jibes.

He said: "I've had enough with the way you've treated me."
