Emmerdale viewers were stunned when a familiar face popped up on the show.
Doug, who has been accidentally running a cannabis farm , introduced his friend Derek to Rodney on tonight's instalment.
Rodney panicked, assuming he was a food hygiene inspector and desperately tried to find the cafe's certificates.
However, Doug was quick to patch things up - revealing he was an old friend.
But Derek was preoccupied as he ran to the toilet, saying he could "feel his bowels moving".
He entertained viewers on the show, but many recognised Derek from elsewhere.
Chloe tweeted: "That's not Derek! That's him out of Cannon & Ball! The non-curly one."
And she was right, as comedy legend Tommy Cannon appeared on viewers screens.
Tommy is best known for being one half of the 1980s comedy duo Cannon and Ball.
In August, the 81-year-old announced he was joining the cast in August when he tweeted: "Excited to be able to announce that I’m doing a brief stint as Derek in Emmerdale!! Spending some time in the Dales."
And fans loved his appearance tonight.
Shaun said: "Yessssss Derek is back."
Tammi tweeted: "Is that Tommy Cannon #emmerdale? Rock on Tommy!!"
And Mike said: "Good to see Tommy Cannon in #Emmerdale."
