Emmerdale viewers spotted an issue on tonight's show after Dawn Taylor cut ties with Harriet Finch.
Monday's edition of the long-running soap continued to explore the fallout after Dawn rescued Clemmie. The character, played by Olivia Bromley, wanted to adopt her friend's daughter after she found her in a squalid home.
Dawn brought Clemmie to the fictional Yorkshire village and approached her husband, Billy Fletcher, about the idea of fostering her. However, her plans were hit last week when social services turned up and took Clemmie away.

Dawn was distraught when she found the person who contacted social services was Harriet Finch. She was furious with the character in tonight's episode and a fiery row broke out.
Harriet defended her actions and claimed she was looking out for Dawn. However, Dawn was not in a forgiving mood and she decided to disown Harriet at the end of the episode.
Viewers following the show on Twitter were confused by Dawn's response and took to the social media platform to agree with Harriet's actions.
Spartacus said: "This Dawn/Clemmie storyline is ridiculous.. The social services outcome now in play would’ve happened just the same way if Dawn & Billy had reported it. The fact Harriet reported it doesn’t make any difference whatsoever.."
Paula posted: "Omg this is giving me a headache!! Harriet is completely in the right and saved Dawn from getting in trouble with social services"
Dion commented : "Harriet is right Dawn"
Katie tweeted: "Dawn is out of order. Harriet did the right thing!"
