Emmerdale viewers issued a demand as Rishi Sharma's mystery intruder was unveiled.
The character, played by Bhasker Patel, is paranoid someone is hiding in his house. However, his son Jai Sharma suspected he was just feeling lonely after daughter Priya Sharma exited the fictional village.
Rishi's paranoid worsened when he discovered a discarded packet of crisps and fans began to speculate the identity of the mystery intruder. Viewers were convinced that a return could be on the cards for the show's iconic villain, Meena Jutla.

However, the revelation in tonight's episode was much less sinister as Marshall Hamston was revealed to be the intruder. The character is trying to get away from his dad's plans to send him to boarding school.
Arthur Thomas visited him in the latest episode and handed him some snacks as they desperately tried to work out their next steps. However, fans following the show on Twitter were underwhelmed by the revelation and called for Meena's return to the Yorkshire Dales anyway.
Emma said: "That's not Meena pfffft!!"
Karren added: "Can we get Meena back please"
Michael posted: "Please let it be Magnificent Meena !"
Twelly Watcher commented: "If it’s not Meena in his house I don’t wanna know"
