Emmerdale came under fire from fans after the Woolpack's new owners were revealed on tonight's show.
Thursday's double header of the long-running soap was the final chapter in the fictional pub's ownership struggle.
Previous landlords, Chas and Marlon, were left with no other option to auction the pub due to financial difficulties.

Al Chapman's attempts to seize control of the pub were ruined after the Christmas Day explosion.
However, he has since received heavy financial backing from a brewery who had concocted a plan to buy the pub and let him run the day-to-day goings on.
They were going up in the auction against Cain Dingle, who was willing to put his family at risk of bankruptcy to keep the pub out of Al's hands.
The two engaged in a bidding war in the first part of tonight's show, before they were gazumped by a mystery online bidder who purchased the pub for £325,000.
The new owners were revealed to be Charity Dingle and her long-lost son Ryan Stock, who recently inherited a large sum of money after the death of his adoptive mother.
However, viewers on Twitter were unhappy the pub remained in the hands of the famous family.
Chris said: "Just same old predictable nonsense. They should either get new people in at the top to run emmerdale or.."
Conor added: "Please please please let anyone buy the pub besides a Dingle buy the pub"
Rowena commented: "As thrilled I am that it’s Charity… why on earth would they do this boring storyline for it to remain with the Dingles"
Steve posted : "This storyline just went around in a complete circle the same people are all back in the pub lol"
@delucaevans added: "so that whole storyline was for nothing and the dingles still keep the woolpack great job guys"

But other fans were pleased with the new owners and praised the twist
Dion said: "Yay I’m glad it’s them that bought it"
Lori added: "CHARITY DINGLE OWNS THE WOOLPACK CHARITY DINGLE OWNS THE WOOLPACK CHARITY DINGLE OWNS THE WOOLPACK!"
Daniel commented : "Good to see Ryan and Charity save the day and keep it with the Dingles."
