ITV Emmerdale teases fans with first-look at special flash-forward week of episodes

Emmerdale has teased fans with a first-look at its special week of flash-forward episodes. The three brand new images give viewers of the ITV soap a glimpse of what is to come and the stories that are set to unfold.

Viewers will be wondering what the future holds for some key characters, but as the week unfolds all will become clear. As the week commences, in the gloom we see a misty graveyard with an open grave.

The slamming of an iron police cell door and the sound of a gunshot rings out in the woods before we see a crumpled car steaming in the gloom having just had a terrible accident… But whose bodies are in the wreck and what does it all mean?

The war between Cain Dingle, played by Jeff Hordley, and adversary Al Chapman, played by Michael Wildman, seems to show no signs of abating, but could this special week be the culmination of their mutual loathing?

Earlier this week, Emmerdale fans believe they predicted the soap's next death after some 'foreshadowing'. As Cain and Al's feud continued, with Belle Dingle now not talking to her brother, there was a scene outside The Woolpack where Al continued to goad his enemy after he left the pub.

However, Chas Dingle overheard and warned her sibling: "Look at yourself. For God’s sake Cain, this has to end before it goes too far." She then said: "I don’t care about Al but if you keep pushing and pushing each other like this, sooner or later one of you is going to end up in a body bag," to which Cain replied: "Let’s just hope it’s not me."

Elsewhere, Noah (Jack Downham) has escalated his obsession with Chloe (Jessie Elland) and Noah will be seen tracking her phone and enjoying spying on oblivious Chloe with his high-tech drone. How will Chloe and her loyal friends react when Noah’s behaviour is exposed? Could Noah’s behaviour be the catalyst to spiral this week into a disaster?

Emmerdale fans have already predicted Noah's actions may turn sinister. It came last month when the teen lashed out at Amelia Spencer. Knowing she had a crush on him, Noah tried using her to make ex Chloe jealous. But when she wasn't falling for his ploy and ended up having a go at him, an upset Noah turned his anger on poor Amelia.

In 'uncomfortable' scenes, Noah lashed out. "I don’t want you, I never wanted you,” he said. "Come on Amelia, no-one would look at you twice - not even with a load of make-up. You’re nothing special and you never will be."

Meanwhile, Gabby (Rosie Bentham) is home alone up at Home Farm and worried Jamie Tate is back from the ‘dead’ and looming large. When things start going bump in the night for Gabby could she find herself in a perilous situation?

Gabby's suspicion that Jamie, the father of her son Thomas, was still alive came earlier this month when Jamie's daughter Millie finally returned to Home Farm for her half-brother's christening. Fans, who know Jamie is alive and faked his own death to get back at his mum Kim Tate, were left feeling 'uncomfortable' when the youngster was forced to lie and not talk about her dad.

However, Millie ended up spilling the secret about her dad when she delivered a message to baby Thomas while thinking she was alone. She said: "I've got secrets about our daddy. Do you understand what I'm saying, Thomas? But you're not allowed to tell anybody. It's a secret message from our daddy. He told me to say he loves you and is going to do everything he can to see you soon."

Unbeknown to Millie, Gabby heard the whole message as it was broadcast through Thomas' baby monitor but as she went up to quiz her further, she was stopped by Millie's grandmother Hazel. Later, when she roped Jamie's ex Dawn Fletcher into helping her, the pair went to Hazel's house to find them gone.

Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw has already teased that deadly stunts will air during the huge flashforward week. Speaking to The Mirror and other press, she teased: "As well as all the exciting drama the week is going to feature stunts and action too.

"We've filmed a fairly big stunt which has been really exciting to plan and build. I don't think we've done anything like it before - not in the 20 years that I've been at Emmerdale anyway - and we've had a lot of conversations and scratchings of heads as to how we could achieve it."
