ITV Emmerdale star says 'look out' as he reveals filming has been 'cancelled'

One of Emmerdale's much-loved stars has told people to 'look out' as the cast are set to enjoy an unexpected day off as filming on the show has been cancelled. Nick Miles, who is known to viewers for playing Jimmy King in the ITV soap, confirmed the news on Twitter on Friday morning (March 10).

He revealed that severe weather conditions have stopped schedules. It comes as heavy snow has brought treacherous conditions with drivers left stranded for hours and people urged to only travel if absolutely necessary. Storm Larisa battered parts of the UK with gales and blizzards overnight.

The Met Office still has a number of warnings in place for snow and ice, including an amber warning covering northern England and the Midlands. Four yellow warnings for snow also cover much of the rest of the nation, with the exception of south-east England and western Scotland.
