Ex Emmerdale star Adam Thomas has been flooded with praise from fans after sharing his incredible body transformation in an emotional Instagram post.
The former Adam Barton actor, who appeared in the ITV soap for eight years, took to social media on Monday evening (June 6) to share before and after snaps of his body as he admitted to hiding his body "for years".
The 33-year-old said he got "sick of revolving my life around this anxiety" of taking his top off on holiday or appearing on TV and so roped in his twin brother Scott Thomas and his self-built community Food4Thought to transform his body and mind.

The post was a short clip of Adam's journey that started with a clip of the actor telling the F4T community that he felt "apprehensive" about the journey ahead of him as pictures of his body before taking on the challenge flashed on the screen.
Adam says: "I genuinely just want to feel comfortable in my own skin. And this is something I have struggled with for years. No one has seen my body" he goes on to admit that his 'insecurity' has had an affect on all aspects of his life. "I just want to be happy," he adds as clips of Adam working out play out.
The dad-of-two then shows off his ripped new physique as he enjoys jumping in the pool with his son Teddy as he finally has the confidence to fully enjoy a family holiday along with his wife Caroline and daughter Elsie.
He posted the emotional clip to his one million followers alongside the caption: "I still can't believe I'm actually posting this, for years I haven't felt comfortable in my own skin, not even the people who are closest to me would catch me with my top off. It's been a massive fear of mine for years to the point where I would even turn down opportunities.
"From television appearances to even lying by the pool on a family holiday, if it involved going shirtless the answer would be no. I was sick of revolving my life around this anxiety I had and decided it was finally time to make a change."

He continued: "My brother Scott and my best friend Eden hated seeing how much this fear was holding me back, they promised me @food4thoughts would help. These are 2 guys I trust more than anything, I've watched them both go through their own transformations so I knew if anyone was going to get me there it would be them. I put 100% trust into F4T and I can't begin to explain how thankful I am for everything they have done for me."
Adam added: "I still can't believe the way I feel right now, this has genuinely changed my entire life. I have more time, more confidence and even my family and friends have noticed it too. Thank you boys @scott.thomas @edens_in_the_clouds_ You changed my life."
And it wasn't long before the comments section was flooded with praise for the actor, among the first to comment was twin brother and mentor Scott, he penned: "Ah bro. Can’t describe how proud I am man…I know how badly you wanted this and you’ve done it man!! So proud to be part of your journey man and I know there is no going back for you now."
Older brother Ryan, best known for his role in Coronation Street, responded: "Wow!" before sharing Adam's video to his own Instagram Story as he beamed with pride over his little brothers transformation.
Fellow Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson wrote: "Yes Adam!!!" while X Factor star Jake Quickenden commented: "Well in bro." Former Pussycat Doll and Dancing on Ice star Kimberley Wyatt said: " Well done you!!!"
And good friend and former Corrie and Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain added: "Great work bro. Proud of you."
