ITV Emmerdale's Vanessa Woodford actress gives birth to baby girl

Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has given birth 'early'.

The Vanessa Woodford actress welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the world on Tuesday, November 15. This evening she shared the news on Twitter with her 117,000 followers.

Michelle, 46, shared an adorable black and white photo of the newborn as well as a second image showing her dressed up in her winter woolies. She explained that her new daughter had come "early".

Captioning the post, the new mum wrote: "Introducing Betty Brooks to the world! Betty made a cheeky early appearance on Tuesday 15th November weighing 5lb 10ozs. We all love you so much our beautiful Betty B." She ended the post with a red love heart emoji.

Co-stars and fans flooded the comments with love and celebratory messages. Fellow soap star Lisa Riley said: "Yipppeeeee!!! Congratulations to you all…Betty is going to be loved beyond words, especially by her big bro Teddy. Cannot wait for snuggles…..Betty Boo so 1976."

ITV journalist, Lucrezia Millarini, said: "Many congratulations - what a beaut! x". Dan Spencer actor, Liam Fox, said: "Congratulations you lovelies".

Michelle already shares a son, Teddy, with wife Kate Brooks. Michelle announced that she was expecting her second child in July. She opened up about the donor process when she previously appeared on Loose Women.
