Former Emmerdale actor Reece Dinsdale, who is best known for his role as super villain Paul Ashdale on the ITV soap, has opened up about his financial hardship following his axe from the show in an X-rated social media post.
The 60-year-old actor, who left the soap last year when his character was killed off in an explosion, has told fans he has been left "without a pot to p**s in" following his departure.
Reece, who is best known as Vinny Dingle’s abusive father also played the role of Joe McIntyre in rival soap, Coronation Street, but also got the chop from the Manchester-based soap.

The actor, who has also starred in Waterloo Road and Life on Mars, returned to the ITV soaps working behind the scenes in a directing capacity.
However, he has now revealed that he does not live a "lavish lifestyle" and has been struggling financially since leaving both the Dales and the cobbles.
Reece recently revealed that he has invested "all his savings" in to an impressive motorhome with plans to travel around the country, he took to Twitter to share the exciting news.
Uploading a snap of his new wheels with a very scenic background, he penned: “We don’t live a lavish lifestyle… far from it. Today I invested all my savings into my dream machine. Not got a pot left to p**s in… but the dreams are now endless!”
The comments section was quickly flooded as fans rushed to support the star on his dreams, one replied: “Amazing… enjoy every minute!” A second added: “Wow, that’s amazing!” while a third fan agreed: “Worth every penny fella!”
It comes after the former soap star recently spoke of his return to the Dales as a director. He spoke of his pride for his work after being involved in several hour-long specials recently.
Reece tweeted: “I’m off to try to get some kip. Start shooting a new block of Emmerdale early tomorrow. No matter how many times you do it, you’re always a little nervous and apprehensive for your first day. I guess it’s a good thing. The day I don’t feel that… will be the day I give it up.”
He later added: “For those of you who enjoy your Emmerdale, you might be interested to hear that the two one hour episodes that I recently directed will be shown on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I’m very proud of them. Hope you enjoy!”
