Emmerdale star Paige Sandhu has confirmed the Liverpool inspiration behind Meena Jutla.
The soap star has entertained fans with her portrayal of the evil nurse on the ITV show.
Meena has returned to the Yorkshire village this week to gatecrash Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor's wedding.

However, the 25-year-old revealed the end is near for the villainous character during an interview on today's This Morning.
She said: "There are two people's lives that hang in the balance over this week.
"I can say this is the beginning of the end for Meena, but there is more drama to come."
Paige was interviewed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on Wednesday's edition of ITV's flagship daytime programme.
The soap star revealed Liverpool superstar Jodie Comer's performance in Killing Eve was the main inspiration behind the character.
She added: "The writers were originally inspired by Jodie Comer's Villanelle because she's so fabulous.
"I also did loads of research on real life serial killers."
This Morning viewers on Twitter flooded the comments to praise Paige's performance after she addressed her soap future.
