ITV Emmerdale's Moira Dingle in tears after character's heartbreaking exit

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle breaks down in tears as Kyle Winchester exits in tonight's show.

The character, played by Natalie J. Robb, has tried to protect the youngster ever since she discovered he murdered Al Chapman in the long-running soap. The fictional Yorkshire village has been rocked with chaos ever since Al was killed.

Cain Dingle pleaded guilty to the crime and has served time in prison. The saga has also placed Matty, Amy and Mackenzie in danger as they have all been complicit in the cover-up.

Police recently grew suspicious something else was at play and questioned the characters as they were reminded of the dangers of perverting the course of justice. This sparked Kyle to make a confession as he admitted to DS Malik that he committed the crime.

Wednesday's Emmerdale explored the fallout of the confession as Moira was devastated to learn Kyle was going to be taken to an authority children's home. A trailer for tonight's episode has revealed the character will break down in tears as she bids an emotional farewell to Kyle.

The footage shows Cain will finally be released from prison as he arrives back in the Yorkshire village. However, the saga is set to have ramifications as Moira is concerned if her marriage to Cain can last as he blames her for Kyle's exit.
