She's been in the soap for two years and has been causing havoc for much of that but Meena Jutla's fate was officially sealed in the latest Emmerdale scenes.
The nurse turned serial killer had her last hoorah on the stand during Monday night's trip to the Dales as she finally faced her punishment for the deaths of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate, and Ben Tucker. It came after dramatic scenes on the ITV soap last week when Meena's murder trial turned into a siege.
Following the horror of the guilty verdicts, the victim's families chose not to attend the sentencing, adding to Meena's distress as she once again wanted an audience, as well as thinking she'd still be getting away with murder. "Wait, they're not here yet. My sister should be here," she the judge was about to get underway.

Her request to wait wasn't heeded to and he went on to declare: "Meena Jutla you have been convicted by the jury for the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker. Your intention was to kill and you were successful. You killed each of them in the most unexpected and frightful ways. I must now sentence you for these murders.
"Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker were blameless victims, they simply had the misfortune to get in your way. A beloved daughter, a beloved mother and a beloved son, needlessly killed by you. I have seen no genuine remorse from you, you are a manipulative person, who has told many lies, and shifted the blame to try and save your own skin."
Delivering the outcome just as Meena's sister Manpreet Sharma walked into the courtroom, the judge told Meena that she had been sentenced to life, a minimum of 25 years, for each murder leading to an overall sentence of 75 years in prison. "You will remain in custody for the rest of your life," the judge added as Meena began to freak out.
"No, no, please don't! Manpreet, do something, please, help me," Meena begged as she was taken back down to the cells before the episode ended with Meena in her cell, banging on the doors and shouting: "Is anyone there? Please just don't ignore me. Don't ignore me, just don't ignore me," while Manpreet breathed a sigh of relief outside the court.
While Paige Sandhu, who has played evil Meena since 2020, hasn't addressed her exit publicly just yet, she did film a video for Emmerdale which was posted on the soap's social channels.
"Meena has gone, finally!" the actress started her lengthy video message. "I'm sure some of you will be very happy, and some of you will be sad. I'm sad because I have loved playing her. She's literally been the dream role."
She went on: "I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for watching her journey and being part of it. I think she's had the most fun ever in the village," before sharing her top five Meena moments. Ending the video, Paige said: "I just want to say thank you all for all your support.
"Thank you to everyone at Emmerdale and ITV and all my beautiful actors and the crew. You're all amazing. You've made this experience just the best of my life and I will treasure these moments forever. And a big thank you, especially to Rebecca Sarker, my on-screen sister but also a sister in my heart. I love you so much."
