Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley has teased the prospect of the soap’s most famous couple finally reuniting.
Lisa Riley, 46, who plays Mandy Dingle, believes one day viewers of the ITV soap may soon see her character reunite with Paddy. Particularly given the relationship heartache currently going on in Paddy’s life.
“The world needs Mandy and Paddy together, but I can’t tell you anything’, Lisa Riley said to the Daily Star. “Me and Dom (Brunt who plays Paddy) are the best of friends and have been since we were teenagers, we’re like brother and sister at work.

“We love working together, that’s all I can say, but we wouldn’t want to do it so quickly, we want to keep the audience guessing because it’s what the audience want.”
The soap couple married in the 1990s before splitting with lots of ‘will they, won’t they?’ moments occurring down the years.
