Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has said he's always 'worried' about his soap future during his latest TV appearance. The actor, who is famed for playing Cain Dingle in the ITV soap, joined the ITV lunchtime show's panel on Monday (October 31) to discuss his latest storyline.
During the next trip to the Dales on Monday evening, viewers will once again see Cain and Al Chapman go head to head after Cain discovers his sister Chas' affair with his former enemy. Earlier this month, Emmerdale released a brand new trailer for the action, fresh off the back of its epic 50th anniversary week which saw the Yorkshire village devasted by a storm.
Both Harriet Finch and Liv Dingle became victims of the adverse weather, with police officer Harriet succumbing to injuries after being flung down a ravine and crushed by the quad bike she was riding in the woods while Liv was unable to be saved after being crushed by a caravan.

But despite the storm now being over, another is brewing is Al and Cain's old rivalry comes back with a vengeance. And while the outcome is being kept under tight wraps, fans know that a gun is involved in their confrontation and a shot will ring out leaving someone's life in the balance.
While he wasn't able to say muhc about what happens, Jeff did tease the fallout, telling Christine Lampard, Frankie Bridge, Janet Street-Porter, and Kelle Bryan: "From here, there are some really good stories. When you do stories like this, you have got to have the ripple effect afterwards.
"This causes certain ripples throughout for various characters within the village. Whether that is me, I can't tell you." But as Janet reeled off a list of the dramatic moments to have arisen during the village's terrifying storm earlier this month and the life-changing havoc it caused, she asked the soap star about his character's fate.
"Are you worried?" she asked Jeff, who has appeared in Emmerdale for 22 years. He replied: "I'm worried every year. We're only on a year's contract at a time and there's times of the year when people's contracts are up and everybody gets nervous."
Meanwhile, Christine was quite giddy at being on the panel with Jeff, admitting to trying to contain herself. "I'm a hardcore Emmerdale fan and I'm trying to contain myself like this lady over here," the presenter admitted, pointing to a woman in the live studio audience who had earlier made her feelings known by cheering when Jeff came onto the set for his interview.
She then slipped up when she suggested 'we' had won the major award at the National Television Awards, meaning Emmerdale. "We won the NTA I say as If I'm part of it," she laughed as Frankie and Jeff said 'congratulations'. "We won! I feel part of the Emmerdale cast," she then joked with a slightly embarrassed giggle.
