Emmerdale fans appear to have found a solution to Laurel Thomas' home issues - if another character steps up.
Laurel looks set to have to pay a heartbreaking goodbye to Mulberry Cottage, the home she shared with late husband and vicar Ashely Thomas.
She and the kids have remained in the property for years but owner Kim Tate announced she was selling it last month after deciding to buy into the haulage firm.
Laurel has been unable to buy the house herself after being refused a mortgage due to now-ex Jai Sharma forging a loan application in her name.

With the couple now split, Laurel has been trying to find a new home but may have to look further afield for an affordable property for her family.
During Wednesday night's trip to the Dales, viewers saw Laurel prepping for the arrival of a prospective buyer.
Son Arthur was less than impressed by his mum's efforts to sell their home.
But there was a surprise for them both when Paddy Dingle knocked at the front door for a look around.
Later, Arthur was seen having a go at Jai, blaming for their situation before telling him he no longer cares about them and they're better off without him.
But some Emmerdale viewers think they have found a solution to Laurel's problems but it requires the help of her children.
@griannedoherty2 tweeted: "Could Gabby totally not just buy Laurel's house given Kim's literally handed over 20% of everything surely she could easily afford it now? But somehow it literally hasn't even crossed her mind as yet unfortunately #Emmerdale."
While @xowildflowerxo suggested: "Wonder why Gabby can't use the money Ashley left her to buy Laurel's house, even if she doesn't wanna use the money Kim gave her? #Emmerdale."
"I actually think Gabby is being quite selfish towards Laurel and Noah. Why isn't Gabby offering to buy Laurel's home? She has half of Kim's assets and also it's providing a secure future for Thomas too Gabby renting out Laurel's old home to her means she won't move out #Emmerdale," @RyanGTweetsTV said.
@TheDonovanViper echoed: "If Diane negotiated a deal of Kim's money and assets for Gabby before she moved to Portugal, why doesn't Gabby just claim the cottage for Laurel or at least buy it from Kim herself, considering she has half of Kim's 4 million. #Emmerdale."
