ITV Emmerdale fans swoon over 'new version' of Noah Dingle

Fans of Emmerdale swooned over Noah Dingle this evening as he appeared to have totally changed.

The young man, played by Jack Downham, was suited and booted as he helped Amelia celebrate the Christening of baby Esther. Despite not being the infant's real dad, he has stepped up to the mark.

It followed the real dad, Samson Dingle, declaring that he wanted nothing to do with little Esther - leaving Amelia to be a single, teenage parent.

On tonight's episode, not only did Noah scrub up well but his attitude has also dramatically improved. Earlier in the year he was roped up in a storyline where he was caught stalking Chloe.

He hid in her bedroom and stole her personal journal, all while trying to befriend her. He was soon found out and was forced to face the music.

But now it seems he has finally turned a corner and majorly matured. He issued his mum, Charity, a stark warning as she turned up to support him and Amelia at the Christening.

She appeared with a plaster over her nose, as he said that she better not get into any more trouble. Fans loved the changes in him and appreciated the "new" character on Twitter.

Mea said: "I love the new Noah #Emmerdale." Milly said: "#emmerdale Noah scrubs up well".

Roberto said: "Emmerdale time Noah looks smart for once. Oh yeah it's the Christening #Emmerdale."
