Emmerdale viewers found themselves being distracted by not one but two Dingles during their latest trip to the Yorkshire Dales. The ITV soap returned to screens on Tuesday night (September 27) with more hard-hitting scenes as Faith Dingle continued to share her plans to end her own life amid her terminal cancer diagnosis.
The iconic character, played by Sally Dexter, accidentally revealed her plans to daughter-in-law Moira who tried to get her to change her mind. However, viewers later saw Moira tearfully agreed to go through with Faith's request for her to be with her at the end, but not help assist her death.
During the latest trip to the village, fans saw Faith get upset as son Cain pressed her for a decision on where she'd like her final days to be. Faith insisted she didn't want to talk about it on her 'fun day' and that she didn't want to spend her precious days talking about her death.

As Faith got more annoyed, daughter Chas appeared behind The Woolpack bar and in a change to the heavy and emotional tone, Emmerdale fans were rushing to social media to comment on Chas' new look as she debuted a new hairdo with added fringe. @conormckenna101 tweeted: "Chas’s mum on death’s door and she still has some time for a gorge new fringe #emmerdale."
@drummergirl2000 said: "Chas’ finally got her fringe back #Emmerdale." @Lesley91286582 shared: "Loving chas hair." @KeithSimons9 added: "#Emmerdale Paddy is back! He will know chas has been up to something? She has washed her hair and had a fringe cut in .Still a misery but hair looks bit better."
But it wasn't just Chas as Mandy Dingle also got viewers talking. The character, played by Lisa Riley, was seen trying to give her son, Vinny, some advice as his mother-in-law Sandra continued to meddle in his relationship with Liv. But the on-screen mum-of-one distracted fans as she rocked a pair of skintight black faux leather trousers which she paired with a bright pink and orange leopard print jumper.
As she dashed through the village in her pointed high heels, she could be seen donning a bunch of gold accessories while her shiny dark locks had been pulled back a blow-dried ponytail. @AuntiePegg tweeted: "Mandy has a plan. Looks like her wardrobe does as well. Love her [heart eyes emoji] #emmerdale."
