ITV Emmerdale fans spot something missing in Meena Jutla charge scenes

Emmerdale fans rejoiced during the latest trip to the village as Meena Jutla was finally charged with her crimes.

Viewers of the ITV soap have waited a long time to see the serial killer pay for what she has done during her time in the village.

Meena was finally caught last week after Dr Liam Cavanagh pushed her other the same bridge where she killed his daughter, Leanna.

But with the evil character pleading self defence over Ben Tucker's murder, and giving 'no comment' to most of the police's questions, there was finally a breakthrough.

During Monday night's episode, Liam's wife Leyla finally spotted Meena's 'trophy box' which had been hidden in the allotment the village doc had started in memory of his daughter.

Putting the new found evidence to Meena, the psychopath claimed that she had found the items.

But during the latest round of questioning, DS Rogers got a call confirming Meena's DNA had been found all over the box and its contents - from Leanna's engagement ring from Jacob to Andrea's bracelet made by her daughter, Millie.

This meant that she could finally be charged for her crimes - and it was quite the rap sheet.

DS Rogers told her: "We've liaised with the CPS and we have what we need now.

"Meena Jutla, I am charging you with the murders of Leanna Cavanagh, Andrea Tate and Ben Tucker.

"I'm also charging you with the attempted murders of Victoria Sugden and Leyla Cavanagh. And for possession of an unregulated firearm.

"For the kidnapping, false imprisonment and attempted murders of Manpreet Sharma and Vinny Dingle. And for the kidnapping and false imprisonment of Billy Fletcher and Dawn Taylor. I am arresting you for assaulting PC Harriet Finch."

Facing life in prison, Meena gave very little reaction to being charged with all her evil crimes, with some fans thinking she took pleasure in hearing it or felt 'relief' that she was caught.

However, Emmerdale viewers have pointed out that there were a few things missing.

"What about evading arrest, assault on the limo driver, breaking and entering Dawn's house, drugging Billy, Manpreet and Vinny, vandalism... have I missed anything else," @jochambo17 said.

@catsofmacdavidmanor shared: "What about the poor limo driver and Lucas? No on caring about them nah?"

"What about Nadina after all she was the one who started all this off?" @jenniferannehunter wrote.

@missduffiedl1163 echoed: "About time but haven't they forgotten Nadine???"

"What about her 'friend' who she murdered years ago?" isaacsmummy0410 also asked.

Viewers are aware that years before following her sister to the village, Meena had already claimed one victim.

The cuttings about Nadine's death from a local newspaper were hidden in Meena's 'trophy box' which was first discovered by Leanna.

This led Meena confessing to the terrified teen before pushing her to her death on her 18th birthday.

Meena was seen calling vicar Charles at the end of the episode (ITV)

While the former nurse may have been charged for most of her crimes, it appears that isn't the end of the story.

At the end of Tuesday night's episode, viewers watched as Meena phoned vicar Charles Anderson - who also happens to be her sister Manpreet's boyfriend and victim Andrea's ex.

She said: "Oh Charles, thank God, the police have charged me. I need your help.

"I need to find forgiveness and redemption. Please don't turn your back on me... as a man of God, I'm begging you!"
