Emmerdale fans were left with one main issue as the new owners of The Woolpack were revealed.
It was a tense time for Chas and Marlon Dingle as their beloved pub went up for auction.
It comes after Al Chapman's plans - and scheming - to turn the Woolie in to luxury accommodation backfired after he caused a blaze.
After Al's investors fell through leaving him with no money for the pub to give to Chas and Marlo, auction became the only option.
But viewers correctly guessed that Ryan would be the boozer's new landlord, assuming he may have inheritance following the death of his adoptive mum, Irene.
He's teamed up with Charity who has sold her share in the haulage firm to Kim Tate.
And it's fair to say Chas and Marlon were blindsided by the news.
However, Emmerdale fans were questioning Ryan's ability to pay for his new investment.
@griannedoherty2 tweeted: "How exactly did Ryan even get the money to buy into the business in the first place? He literally just found out about the inheritance less than 24 hours ago & doesn't it usually take months for any inheritance to actually go through probate or whatever? #Emmerdale."
"How the hell did Ryan get his inheritance money so quick?? Takes months & months to go through probate ffs! #Emmerdale," @Conormo56898955 said.
@lindapmm49 commented: "Ryan has bought the pub. Only reason for bringing Irene back as a corpse, to immediately leave half her estate to Ryan. Quickest will reading & probate ever, let alone him getting his hands on the money, as with auctions you sign on the day. #emmerdale."
But viewers said they were left 'howling' as Charity already got to work on giving her orders out.
@_rachelm91_ commented: "Howling that she is making Chas and Marlon interview for their old jobs."
However, @mishybabez_ said: "I hope Chartiy is joking! Chas and Marlon need the jobs back in the pub #Emmerdale."
