ITV Emmerdale fans point out Noah Dingle's 'offence' in latest scenes as they fear for 'nasty' character

Emmerdale fans have claimed to have spotted an 'offence' taking place during latest scenes involving Noah Dingle.

The ITV soap was back on screens on Tuesday night, with fans still getting used to its new time slot after ITV underwent a schedule overhaul at the start of this week.

And it was Noah who has come under fire from Emmerdale fans following the latest trip to the Dales.

Hints of the drama to come, however, were planted during Monday's episode when Noah was heard gossiping about newly married Vinny and Liv's relationship.

It came as Vinny's mum Mandy became obsessed with planning them a party after believing they had just got engaged, not knowing they had also tied the knot just the two of them and with two strangers as witnesses.

Noah was heard telling Samson they don't sleep together and would never have kids - but as viewers know, Liv has always been open about her sexuality and revealed in 2019 she was asexual

But Noah's cruel gossiping quickly came to a halt when he realised Vinny was still in the room. Liv was, of course, furious and let Noah know it.

Over at The Hop, where Mandy was still getting stuck into engagement party planning, Noah apologised, and asked Liv what time her and Vinny's party was.

"What makes you think you're invited?" Liv replied, giving Noah more ammunition for what he did next. Samson passed Noah a letter to hand over to Vinny or Liv but ended up opening it himself.

Noah then paid Mandy a visit to give her the post which contained Vinny and Liv's wedding certificate which he claimed he opened "because he was confused" as it was addressed to "Mr and Mrs V Dingle".

Mandy said "must be a mistake" before being left heartbroken after discovering it wasn't a mistake and that her son had indeed got married without her being there.

But Emmerdale viewers were quick to point out an issue with Noah's apparent 'confusion'.

"It's against the law to open someone else's mail," @sharon.elizabeth.luke_ said.

@nicolasadler tweeted: "Isn't it illegal to open someone else's post? But that's ok, because Noah was confused #emmerdale."

"I know this is acting before anyone says anything but Noah don't you know it's an offence to open anyone mail that is not addressed to you," @dj10_6 echoed.

@UndecidedMs commented: "Opening other peoples mail is actually a crime #Emmerdale."

"#Noah just committed a crime right?! #Mandy #Emmerdale," @Rosepetal98_ asked.

It comes as Emmerdale viewers have become fearful of the 'nasty' character after he lashed out at girlfriend Chloe after discovering she had spent the night with Jacob Gallagher.

@moore95_pamela tweeted: "Noah is seriously dangerous. He's a little busy body always prying into people's business. A spell in the army would've sorted his nonsense #Emmerdale."

"Noah really is a nasty little t***. Imagine doing something that malicious out of sheer spite just because someone quite rightly told you off for being rude. #Emmerdale," @NicolaClaire93 commented.

@teenamassam added: "Noah needs locking up, shouldn’t open other people’s mail, he couldn’t wait to blab to Mandy…#Emmerdale."
