ITV Emmerdale fans plead 'no' after 'working out' new storyline

Emmerdale viewers have been left saddened as they think they've predicted a new storyline in the saw long-running ITV soap.

The week's final instalment of the Yorkshire-based drama saw David, Leyla and Chloe giggling in the shop while watching a video on their phones. It then came to light that they were watching footage of Dan exercising in fluorescent clothing and "tiny" shorts.

Amelia was also in the clip, and she walked into the shop to see the three in fits of laughter. When Leyla realised, she nudged them all to silence them.

Chloe finally sent Amelia the video, which she said had been filmed by a girl in Amelia's year. Amelia asked if she'd sent it to anyone else and Chloe replied: "No... well, only Kerry".

After rushing to the salon, Amelia begged Kerry to delete the video - which she'd already uploaded on social media. Kerry seemed to think Amelia was worried as Dan would be embarrassed, but viewers think there's more to it.

As Kerry left the scene, a concerned-looking Amelia looked at her reflection in the mirror. Some fans think they have worked out the next storyline for Amelia - and they don't like it.

Taking to Twitter, Chilsie0 said: "Aww PLEASE no, not Amelia with an eating disorder storyline. She has no reason to feel bad about her appearance!!". Pamela Moore said: "Amelia, there is NOTHING wrong with you. Just be yourself & stop looking at social media".

Brandon said: "Not an ounce of fat on her!" Ryan Glendenning said: "Amelia worried about her body [cry-face emoji], you look beautiful Amelia".

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
