Emmerdale fans have flocked to share their fury of a twist in the latest trip to the fictional Yorkshire village. Thursday night's episode of the ITV soap (February 9) saw a sudden double exit after Sarah Sugden discovered the truth about Chloe Harris and Mackenzie Boyd.
As viewers know, the pair enjoyed a secret rendevous last year after Mack had a fallout with girlfriend Charity Dingle. However, the couple soon reconciled and Mack was doing all he could to keep Chloe away.
However, she was finally able to drop the bombshell that she was pregnant with his child following their one-night stand. In another twist of events, Chloe was left with nowhere to go when her mum, Kerry Wyatt, headed off to work on a cruise ship following the death of cheating fiance Al Chapman.

The character, portrayed by Jessie Elland, ended up moving in with Mack and Charity after Sarah asked if they could take her in. But the latter was in for a shock when she heard Mack and Chloe arguing at the house as Mack decided he was going to tell his wife-to-be the truth.
After summoning Charity back home, Mack was about to spill all, however, his confession was interrupted when Sarah who collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by her panicked grandmother. A distraught Charity was concerned her grandaughter was going to die due to her complicated health conditions.
But doctors later confirmed that Sarah has suffered a panic attack and Sarah later revealed, after getting Charity out of the room to fetch some drinks, that she had faked the panic attack as she overheard Mack's plans to tell Charity about the baby.
She then concocted a plan to visit her mum, Debbie Dingle, in Scotland and that Chloe had to go with her to give Mack and Charity to have some space.
But Emmerdale fans were fuming that Sarah faked her ill health. @LauJane_ tweeted: "That Sarah twist in tonight's #Emmerdale was so ludicrous." @GeorgiaBowring said: "#Emmerdale Is Sarah not going to tell the doctors that she faked a panic attack and she’s wasting their time???"
@griannedoherty3 added: "Sorry but Sarah faking illness given her condition is just plain sick. All to stop Mac telling Charity the truth really? Surely it's better she finds out now before she actually Married the cheating bastard. Also can't run forever & the truth always outs unfortunately #Emmerdale."
Others, however, were confused as to why Sarah was letting Mack and Chloe keep their secret. @_Kax_x asked: "Why would Sarah let them get away with it? It doesn't make sense. #Emmerdale." @CarolMoore60 moaned: "Sarah lying to her Gran is as distasteful as Mack and Chloe’s affair. #Emmerdale."'
