ITV Emmerdale fans know when Kerry will return as some fume over exit storyline

Emmerdale fans don't seem to think Kerry Wyatt's time away from the village will be for long as they have their say on her exit. The ITV soap character, played by Laura Norton, was seen leaving her Yorkshire home after discovering her dead fiance Al Chapman was cheating on her.

But unbeknownst to Kerry, the woman who the shady businessman was planning a life with behind her back was the exact woman she was confiding in - Chas Dingle. Fans watched as Kerry's daughter Chloe Harris, told her that she suspects Al was cheating on her after she and Victoria Sugden found a load of receipts fro hotels and restaurants.

Obviously, viewers know it was Chas that Al was seeing month's behind his fiance and her husband's backs. But things came to a head earlier this month when Kyle Dingle shot Al as he fought with his dad, Cain. However, Cain took the blame and is now in prison for murder.

While Kerry didn't believe Chloe at first, she later broke down in tears as she realised that her relationship was a lie. And during the latest edition of the ITV soap on Friday (November 18) an emotional, and hungover, Kerry went to the pub in her pyjamas and it was then that Chas took her into the back room where she revealed Al had been cheating on her.

As they chatted Chas suggested she get away from the village to clear her head and that's when Kerry told her she had been offered a job on a cruise ship by a friend. Chas encouraged her to go for it and Chloe was devastated to walk in and hear Kerry making plans to leave Emmerdale.

After getting a pregnant Chloe to come round to the idea, she dropped the news on new mum Amelia Spencer before packing her bags and heading out of the village. But Emmerdale fans were quickly commenting on when they think Kerry will be back. Or at least Chas' affair with Al will be revealed.

@RyanGSoapKing11 tweeted: "Hopefully Kerry will be back in time for Xmas Day when S**t hits the fan #Emmerdale." @terrettcorey said: "Kerry leaving but then coming back for the secrets to be revealed at Christmas? #emmerdale." @mikepriestley13 wrote: "I take it this will come out over Christmas the affair with al and Chas if Kerry is leaving for a while #Emmerdale." @robjh44 added: "#emmerdale. I think the affair should be exposed on Christmas day. What drama that would be."

Meanwhile, others have been reacting to Kerry's exit. @Chris1968E fumed: "#Emmerdale So that's how they're getting rid of Kerry. Sending her to a cruise ship. Not having her go to prison for being a killer. Ridiculous yes. Surprising no." @lil_fairy_doll wrote: "So Kerry leaves, with her daughter alone and pregnant and with having to pay off a 20k loan?! Eh?! Make it make sense... #Emmerdale." @teenamassam added: "Kerry is so selfish, the first sign of trouble and she’s off just when Chloe needs her most..#Emmerdale."

Kerry exit comes just after the actress who plays her gave birth to her second child. Laura and her former co-star partner Mark Jordan welcomed a daughter, named Ronnie, into the world last month. Laura announced the safe arrival of the newborn, who will be younger sister to the couple's first child, son Jesse, on social media

Sharing pictures of the newborn meeting her older brother and alongside her doting parents on Instagram, Laura penned: "She’s here!!!! We’ve baked another belta. This little superstar joined us on Mon 17th October. She’s dead clever and a tiny little bundle of joy and beauty." Revealing her name, the mum-of-two added: "Ronnie Jordon."
