Emmerdale fans have been left discombobulated by a new arrival in the village this week as many are convinced they spotted singer and songwriter Jess Glynne in recent scenes.
During last night's trip to the Dales, new-mum Amelia found herself in a spot of hot water with social services after they received a tip-off from Samson regarding the welfare of baby Esther. The social worker arrived to discover that Noah has stepped up to help Amelia with the baby, but she looked less than impressed after learning about his stint behind bars.
However, fans were distracted by the social workers appearance after many were convinced she was a double of "Rather Be" songstress, Jess Glynne. Taking to social media to share their disbelief, one fan penned: "Jess Glynne!" as second agreed: "Who the Jess Glynne was that? #Emmerdale."

A third Emmerdale fan quipped: "Jess Glynne be like 'this is confidential' and then she’s SCREAMING the Dales down!"
Samson hoped the authorities would take her away to "free" himself of the tot, however, his sinister plan did not come to fruition as Amelia refused to give her baby up for adoption. Instead he caused much anguish for various family members.
And the superstar lookalike wasn't the only thing that caught viewers eyes as many pointed out that baby Esther didn't "look real" as they slammed the soap as "unrealistic." One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Why can't they have a real baby lying in her arms. Or at least a weighed doll same size as a baby. It just looks daft!"
A second criticised: "Really stupid, that fake baby is half the size of the real one", while a third slammed: "Oh Jesus, at least get something a little less... Rigid. Only thing a doctor will find on that baby is the manufacturers mark!"
Elsewhere, fans are convinced they have "worked out" when Paddy Kirk will learn the truth about his wife Chas Dingle's affair with Al Chapman. Tuesday's episode ended with a dramatic cliffhanger as Chas shoved her husband away as she yelled at him asking why he had never left her.
Paddy looked shocked and confused by Chas' words as she stormed out of the room in floods of tears. And now viewers are convinced the penny has dropped for him.
