Emmerdale fans were disgusted with one character on tonight's episode as they branded her "the worst".
Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, has been having a secret affair behind her husband, Paddy's, back on the ITV soap. She has recently been caught out by her relative Belle Dingle as she snuck off to a hotel with Al Chapman for an adulterous rendezvous.
When they were leaving Belle saw them sharing a kiss and she was disgusted at what she had witnessed. On tonight's episode she confronted Chas about her actions.

But Chas tried to turn the tables on Belle and warned her not to tell Paddy. She tried to emotionally blackmail the young woman as she reminded her of her own affair. Belle argued back as she said she wasn't married with a kid.
When that didn't work, Chas went one step lower as she used her own dying mum as an excuse. She said: "If you do this, if you tell him, then my mother's dying last months are going to be blighted by all of this.
"And yes, I know it's my fault and my fault alone. I will have to live with that for the rest of my life. And yes, I deserve to be punished... but she doesn't.
"So I am begging you, for her sake, please don't blow everything up. Not just yet. Just give me this time with my mum."
Belle said: "Using your dying mum as an excuse. It's unbelievable. You think I'm going to calm down and then I'm going to feel guilty because I'm grieving. It's a nice try Chas."
Fans on Twitter were also in disbelief of how low the character had sunk. Sandra said: "Using your dying mum as an excuse is the lowest of the low Chas!! #emmerdale". Dion said: "Don’t use Faith as an excuse #Emmerdale."
Shannon said: "Not Chas using her dying mum as an excuse. She's literally the worst #Emmerdale." Meanwhile, Yvonne said: "Low as low Chas using your dying mother as excuse #Emmerdale".
