Sally Dexter is renowned as an Emmerdale legend.
She first joined the cast of the long-running soap as Faith Dingle in 2017. Shadrach Dingle's ex-wife had previously been played by Gillian Gephcott before Sally took on the role.
She has since made the character her own and played Faith through some of Emmerdale's most dramatic storylines after her return to the fictional Yorkshire village. It was revealed Faith had pushed Kim Tate off her balcony at Home Farm and she exited the Yorkshire Dales in 2019 as the fierce matriarch swore revenge.

Sally reprised her role as Faith in 2021 and she is currently embroiled in a heartfelt plot after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Show bosses have previously told the ECHO that Faith's exit will kickstart Emmerdale's 50th anniversary celebrations in October.
Executive producer Jane Hudson said: "At the start of the month, we will be focusing on our Faith storyline, which is a huge storyline for us at the moment."
Sally's onscreen son is Cain Dingle, who is played by Jeff Hordley. Offscreen, Sally is 62-years-old and it may surprise fans of the show to discover there is only a 10 year age gap between her and Jeff, who is aged 52.
Jeff has previously told the ECHO he is is devastated about Sally's exit. He said: "My character is involved in the Faith storyline. I'm personally saddened at losing the brilliant Sally Dexter, but it will give us some great stories going forward.
"I look forward to doing that and that is as much as I know." Sally has heaped praise on her exit plot.
She said: "I think (the exit storyline) is excellent. I haven't read the scripts for her death, but I'm hoping it's as positive as it can be. This isn't just a story about a cancer; it's a wider story about family."
Away from the world of showbiz, Sally keeps her personal life away from the limelight. However, the Daily Star report she did reveal she was living with her mystery long term partner in London when she first started working on the soap.
