ITV Emmerdale Chas Dingle's demand sparks 'sickened' viewers to switch off

Emmerdale viewers were shocked as Chas Dingle's affair with Al Chapman continued.

The character, played by Lucy Pargeter, has struggled to come to terms with her mum's cancer diagnosis in the ITV show. She took comfort in Al last week and the two shared a kiss.

They both admitted their mistake and decided to talk things over in tonight's programme. However, the pair's relationship blossomed as they met in the woods outside the fictional Yorkshire village.

Chas and Al proceeded to share another passionate kiss. Al pushed back and suggested to slow down, but Chas demanded it continue before suggesting the two should find a hotel room.

Viewers following the show on Twitter were stunned by scenes and suggested they will be switching off until the plot has resolved.

Fee said: "You can’t cheat on Paddy with Al of all people?! Seriously!! @emmerdale dislike"

Jay added: "After just switching back on following the whole ridiculous Meena storyline, it is now time to switch back off again with this whole ridiculous Chas/Al storyline"

Irene commented: "Chas and Al make me want to puke"

Jordan posted, alongside sick emojis: "Sly Al and Chas"

Owen tweeted: "Al and Chas - where’s the sick bucket?"
