ITV Dancing on Ice new presenter odds should Phillip Schofield leave

Now Phillip Schofield has left This Morning speculation has been growing about if he will continue to present ITV show Dancing on Ice. The host dramatically left the daytime TV series he presented for 21 years after a reported rift with co-host Holly Willoughby.

People have been wondering if Phil will continue to present the Dancing on Ice show which he co-presents with Holly as well. In a statement ITV told Metro.co.uk “further announcements” will be made in “due course”.

They added: “Dancing On Ice isn’t due on ITV until January 2024 and the series is not currently in production.” Phil quit This Morning saying: “I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.

“Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love. So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future.”

According to Gambling.com In For A Penny Stephen Mulhern has been installed as favourite to present Dancing on Ice, should Phil step down. Stephen has previous experience after filling in for Covid-stricken Phillip in February 2022, alongside Holly. He is at very short odds of 4/5. Second favourite is Dermot O’Leary who has stepped in on This Morning with Rylan Clark coming in third.
