The Dancing On Ice final was in sight for the remaining couples - but a schedule shake-up had altered plans.
The final of the ITV skating competition was due to take place on Sunday, March 20, following this weekend's semi-final.
During Sunday night's show, Phillip Schofield announced the next episode will see a double elimination as they whittle down the couples for the grand final.

However, Dancing On Ice viewers who were expecting to find out who wins the 2022 series in less than two week's time will now have to wait until March 27.
ITV will be airing the FA Cup Quarter final, meaning there will be back-to-back football action on the same date with the second game, which has confirmed to be between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest, kicking off at 6pm.
This means that Dancing On Ice’s usual 6.30pm start time won’t be possible and ITV have confirmed the final will take place a week later and the show will be having a week off, The Sun reports.
On Sunday night Paralympian Stef Reid has become the latest celebrity eliminated from Dancing On Ice in a week that saw three contestants earn perfect scores from the judges.
The judging panel voted unanimously to save BMX Olympic medal winner Kye Whyte after he landed in the dreaded skate-off for the fourth time.
Co-hosts Phillip and Holly Willoughby were full of praise for both contestants and suggested the quality of performances this year had reached an all-time high.
The latest episode saw former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt and singer and dancer Regan Gascoigne all score the maximum 40 points.
A shocked Phillip said: "I genuinely think this is one of the best shows we have ever done."
