It has been a long road to the final of this year's Dancing on Ice final. But fans were left claiming they spotted a number of blunders as the show got under way - with one section of the ITV show needing to be stopped.
Joey Essex, The Vivienne and Nile Wilson were the three finalists in this year's competition, reports Manchester Evening News. As hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield prepared to welcome the class of 2023 back on the rink to showcase their skills they had to stop and say: "Somebody is not ready."
They jokingly asked "has somebody got nerves?" before the skating could resume and the celebs returned one by one with their professional partners. @WhoPotterVian remarked on Twitter: "'Apparently somebody is not ready' - Oh dear, maybe now would be a good opportunity to get those pesky adverts out of the way? No? Guess that punishment's saved for later."

@cfs123plays joked: "Here we go, the skating stars, take 2." @stanmissjaida gasped: "SO unprepared wow." @corriedalexo said with crying emojis: "Someone's not ready." And a surprised @cfs123plays tweeted: "Here we go, the skating stars. BUT SOMEONE ISNT READY!"
Fans were also baffled as they thought they spotted a filming mistake as former contestants also took to the ice. As Phil and Holly introduced 2022 winner Regan Gascoigne and runner-up Brendan Cole to the ice, eagle-eyed viewers had already spotted the pair behind them in the audience.
Sharing a clip of the moment @desertgold2 asked: "Did anyone see this – they were sat there behind Holly and Phil #dancingonice." And @JoT134 replied: "I saw it and it’s been bugging me ever since. Some parts must be pre-recorded."
@MitchM77 wrote: "It says LIVE when it’s live. But it’s better for continuity to make us think it’s all seamlessly live. Brendon looked so confused!" And @xRVSx laughed: "It’s so funny how Brendan and Reagan are sat there applauding themselves coming onto the ice1!"
