ITV Corronation Street's Jack P Shepherd laughs as he reveals girlfriend found unusual hidden 'stash' in his car

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd couldn't keep a straight face as he told his social media followers that his girlfriend had found his unusual hidden 'stash'. The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, took to Instagram with a video which he posted to his Stories.

Jack is loved up with his influencer girlfriend Hanni Treweek, who worked behind the scenes on Corrie. The loved-up gave their first-ever joint interview on Loose Women back in November 2020 where they revealed how they met.

"We started talking at a mutual friend’s wedding," Hanni explained. "We just kind of clicked and he made me laugh a lot that night, it didn’t really go anywhere from that but then we met each other in Sainsbury’s. I had no make-up on, I was bright red, I was sweating, I was so embarrassed."

They also revealed that they are keen to tie the knot - but it wasn't on the cards in the imminent future at the time. "We fell in love quite quickly, we clicked and were on the same page," Hanni said on the ITV show. "I think we’d like to in the future," she added when asked about the couple's future plans.

Jack said: "I think it’s only sensible to have those sort of conversations with a partner or someone that you’re dating… after a few months or as soon as you know it’s serious."

But back to Jack's video and it showed the Corrie star, who was sporting a leather jacket and a pair of smart sunglasses, sat in his car as he spoke to the camera. "Girlfriend found my stash last night..." Jack then burst out laughing. He then panned the camera down towards his gear stick where he opened the storage compartment on the centre console.

It was filled with various bottles of cologne and as he burst out laughing, Jack moved some of them around and said: "Look at all them!" However, there was no explanation as to why they were there as he continued to laugh into the camera.

Last month, Jack revealed how he was involved in a terrifying fireball incident while enjoying a weekend away in the Lake District with his girlfriend. Jack and Hanni had headed on a UK getaway to celebrate Valentine's Day. He later revealed the horror that could have unfolded on his podcast, Sofa Cinema Club, which he hosts with Corrie co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price, who play Craig Tinker and Nick Tilsley in the long-running, Salford-based soap.

The 35-year-old shared how he and influencer Hanni were staying in a cabin in a remote location in Cumbria which boasted an idyllic hot tub and log fire but when they arrived, he needed the help of his phone torchlight as it was already getting dark. Speaking on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast, he said: "To celebrate Valentine's Day, me and Hanni went up to the Lake District. You can stay in those cabins that are in the middle of nowhere. There's a hot tub, log fire, it's like being back in the 70s. Off-grid. There's no internet, electricity is scarce. It's almost romantic, but it's also frightening."

He went on to explain: "We turned up at six and it's getting dark. There are no street lamps, so I'm using the torch on my phone. My sister has a log fire hot tub, so I'm quite familiar with them. But I'm in the rain." He was quick to admit that this hot tub was different to what he was used to, saying that there was a shoot with a hatch that he had to open, dropping logs and kindling down and hoping it caught to get it going. "I can't get my hands down, so I have to light it above and drop it down, and it's raining. I can't even get the fire going," Jack said.

"I'm trying to light this kindling in my hand while craning my neck to hold onto the brolly to stop water from dousing out the flames." But things took a sudden turn and Jack almost suffered what could have been a horrific accident.

"I'm thinking, 'There's got to be a simpler way?' And there was. I found a bottle of spirit, like lighter fluid," he said as he started to recall the terrifying incident. "Just as I'm pouring the lighter fluid down, of course I've got a bit of flame and it comes back up. Eyebrows. Brolly. And then the flame goes in the bottle. I had to drop the whole f***ing thing in.

"The whole thing went in and then it goes up like it's 5th November. I'm lucky I've still got my face." When asked if it blew up in his hand, he said: "Yeah. What I should've done is put the lighter fluid down before I started dropping a match. I did [get it going] in the end."
