Coronation Street fans slammed a scene featuring Tim Metcalfe looking up porn on his computer after having problems with Sally in the bedroom. Tim has been struggling with impotence ever since his triple-heart bypass operation in January.
The couple went to see a sex therapist to help with their problems in the bedroom and he was left disappointed in Monday night's episode when a frolic in the hot tub led to nothing. So he decided to secretly help himself while Sally was out and fans were horrified.
Looking up adult content, he looked a photo of himself and Sally and said: "I'm doing this for you love." Later Tim prepared a romantic meal for Sally and told her her he was feeling much more positive.

He chirped that it won’t be long before things are back to normal in the bedroom and Sally was thrilled. "Well you do look like you've got a spring in your step," she said.
Tim told her: "Let's put it this way I don't think it will be long before we're putting that mattress to the test." And viewers took to Twitter to complain.

Then the next wave of Shakespeare clones took over as writers turning them into an annoying pair of kids. I'm off to get some tunes on for the sake of sanity."
@sofaneilas grumbled: "Lovely wed night viewing! Is this Channel 4?" @mishybabez_complained: "So done with this Tim storyline it's getting boring now." And @xxAlicia89 asked with a blushing face: "Tim what you doing?"
And other Coronation Street fans predict a disturbing twist after local councillor Maria Connor was made the target of online abuse. A deep-fake video was made to humiliate her, in which her face was added to the body of an unknown naked woman.

And @homebrew19721 wondered: "Tim looking at Maria's video." But @Greekgoddess02 said: "This #Corrie story with Sally and Tim is fab. I love Tim he's so funny."
